From Junk to Hunk – New Fonts (Part 2 of 2)2 min read

Standout from the rest with script fonts.

Make heads turn – towards your business!

Another perk of our new feature is how attractive it will make your mail look (oh my!).

A successful business and brand are built on many things, the most important of them is through consumer loyalty, trust, and recognition. Modern and updated logos, slogans, and business practices lend to these achievements, but a lot of businesses tend to neglect their mail.

About 425.3 million pieces of mail are sent out every day (2) and just about everyone gets it in one way or another, be it bills, celebration cards, or bulk mail, the latter of which consumers consider to be junk. Of that “junk mail”, a whopping 44% of it is thrown away unopened (1).

Birthday cards are never tossed out though and it’s not just because of those colorful envelopes.

Just like with credit repair companies, most mail is addressed with the same sans-serif fonts. Consumers have come to associate these fonts with that of junk, unless they are specifically expecting a certain type of mail. Impressions rule the world and your envelope is the very first thing anyone sees so choosing a handwritten font can make your mail feel more personable to the consumers you want it to reach.

Alright, count me in – how do I get started?

It’s simple, just follow the same digital mailing process that you usually do and if you’re new to Postalocity, you can view a quick tutorial here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbZE9-tZFvo

To add a handwritten font, find the box labeled “Postalocity #10 Envelope Design” and click on the current font to the right of “Address Font”. Select from many of our wonderful scripts and prints and you’re on your way!
